Thread: Modem resets (all lights go off) once on average every day

Every day; at least once; my modem reboots probably because of some kind of server restart on bsnl's end or loss of signal.

Anyone else have this happen ?

My modem seems to reboot every day only with BSNL though. This never happens when the modem is connected to an airtel.

Windows XP

The modem is also connected to a UPS so it's not a power fluctuation issue (either way if it was this would happen with airtel).

1. Replace your adapter and check.

2. Also check the splitter.

perhaps a log in is valid for 24 hours only.
please check whether the re boot of modem is at the end of 24 hr period from the last log in time.
