Thread: confused a bit regarding bsnl new connection..

so, soon i'm shifting to jaipur. my father want me to prepare for competition exams for job there. so in short i can say that i'm student and i'll stay there on rent.
i want bsnl broadband connection there. as its having best plan which suits my pocket too.. its BB Home Combo UL 750.
1. well i want to ask the total approx cost of broadband installed and working.. (total cost of everything)
2. as my dad is in delhi police and also my uncle is in rajasthan police will i get any discount? (i can take connection on any of their name) and is bsnl give my connection? as i'll live on rent there..?
3. what will be my bill? 750+ any other charge or discount?
4. i cant pay more than 600, please let me know the bill amount after getting discount.. or i'll go with BB Home UL 499 OR BB Home Combo UL 625 OR BBG FN Combo 500 (actually i dont want to call with landline and want it on zero rental if possible)

i want to prefer unlimited plans. please help. confused with charges..
and also how's bsnl's speed?
right now using airtel 98rs 2GB. and its amazing.. getting 10 KBps while surfing and 25 KBps while download its not constant it might be between 10 - 40 KBps while download with DAP manager.
so what about bsnl? and final question : how many days will it take for connection to be working on my that ranted 'home'?

can you register A new Landline BSNL telephone to be registered in the house you are renting ! to get 20% discount on BB rentals?
