From the Home Combo plan chart (BSNL Broadband, Rs. 250 RURAL), it is seen that 1.5 GB is Free and Rs. 0.20/MB will be charged upto 3 GB, and afterwords, Rs. 0.10/MB ... Is Rs. 0.20/MB is applicable to 1.5 GB to 3 GB (total. i.e., 1.5 Free + Next 1.5) or from 1.5 GB to 4.5 GB (1.5 GB Free + Next 3 GB = 4.5 GB) ? My doubt is that when Rs. 0.10/MB starts? after 3 GB or after 4.5 GB?

1 GB = 1024 MB ( 24 MB ignored for easy calculations ) )

Say summary shows 5 GB :

anything exceeding 1.5 GB upto 4.5GB @ 20paise/MB = Rs 600/=
( effectively 3 GB additional usage charged at 20 paise/MB)
above 4.5 GB (total) @ 10paise /MB= Rs 50/=
total charges Rs 250 fixed+ Rs 650=
Rs 900/= + taxes.

Method 2 : ( Not used by BSNL )
Upto 3 GB ( including free d/l )= Rs 600/=
Additional 2 GB 200/=
Total Rs 800/= + taxes.

Method 3 : ( what user wants !)
free 1.5 GB Fixed Rs 250/=
1.5GB to 3 GB Rs 300/= ( @ 20paise/MB)
3 GB to 5 GB Rs 200/= (@ 10 paise /MB)
Total Rs 750/= + taxes.
