Thread: Forgot my bsnl broadband password

Hi Friends,

I forgot my password but i know my user name I'm able to connect to internet.but not able to check internet usage since it requires password and portal-id.any easy way to recover it rather than registering a complaint.can anyone help me??

Just call your local exchange. They keep it in their records. Just 2 minutes business to get it.

You may also try a bandwidth meter. Use one from Networx or Shaplus.

docket ur bb with respect to userid/ pass prob and they wil reset ur pass to ur default pass

default pass fr 117.xxx.x.xxx is password
default pass fr 59.xxx.x.xxx is 78ce90b4fa

thnks guys, i have restored my password .it was default "password".but i cannot log into datafox or any other bsnl site to check my data usage it shows invalid username and password.i want to check my account detalis since i have moved it to night plan.can u help me again??

Contact BB section BSNL> default PW : password

Registered earlier ? got the PW from Bsnl ?

thz i have registered myself in bsnl CDR portal .but still i cannot login to datafox or other bsnl sites using the same password and user id i use to login to the cdr customer site.

Data fox works for old Ip 59.xx.xx.xx and
117.xx.xx.xx only at data.bsnl.in.
As the web site application for selfcare portals is different DATAFOX may not work. Author of the program will need at least one ID/PW
for each portal sdc wdc edc and ndc.
If you want to help , you can send by PM your portalID/PW to me .
and change them after 15 days.
Basically it(DATAFOX) will access the summary usage details at the top.

thz but networx keep track of the whole traffic during night(2 to 8) during which it's free.datafox gives me the exact chargeable MB so i can keep track whether it's going above my 2.5 gb limit

My local exchange is telling that the password for webmail is "password" by default...but it cannot be opened that way.Anyone please tell me a sample password type so I can find out my password from my other credentials.

call customer care and they will tell your asername..but firtly they will verify your account by asking that by which name the connection is or which plan u r using(just to verify your identity)..
