Not quite sure about broadband but it helped regarding my online bsnl 3G data recharge from bsnl portal.

Once i did 606 recharge from bsnl portal but i didn't get successful confirmation message 2 my mobile, and my money got debited from bank .i waited for 10-12 hours and then i have raised a complaint from this site
    http://mis.bsnl.co.in/pgs/internet/pgwebregn.asp

I got 3 phone calls from bsnl after registering complaint from this site & they took my complaint and problem was solved with in 24 hrs, finally i got recharge successful msg . I think it should work for you also.

the Grievance really works , i changed my bb plan from combo 1111 to bbg combo uld 1350 with effect from 1st April , during first 2 or 3 days i was also getting 2 Mbps( 200 to 220 KBps) & after posting my grievance my speed increased to 4 Mbps( download speed 450 to 500 KBps ) , check your ADSL status ur downstream & upstream limit should be 4092 & 510 kbps respectively , after complaining , ur should b removed from 2 Mbps & placed at 4Mbps

so, so don't waste time , post ur Grievance

@essbebe,in your post#2 you have used first 3-4 digits of tel no. to be entered in place/exg code.are you sure about this because after reading my telephone bill on the back there is a list of exchange codes under the name of accounts officer to be contacted in case of billing problems.since my district is large there are 3 accounts officers so exchange code helps in finding the correct person to contact.also on front side of bill there should be your exchange code alongside your telephone no. something like VSHN(if your area name is something like vaishali)& your exchange code would be VSH after matching it to the codes given on back as was in my case because there was a code VSH on back of bill but none as VSHN.

P.S.the online grievance link works really well.i only used it 2 times & 2nd time after posting my complaint with correct exchange code i got a call within a few hours to enquire about my problem.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Only 8 digit Telephone number and Consumer No. seen.
( My address /meter reading/type of connection/bb details etc as usual)
    1.
Even if you type wrongly 1234 or Jhumrithaliya ,
( computer program expects some data here ( Just tried now !)
the form is ready for post/acceptance.
If other details are given correctly in our own interest.
    2.
Details about your std code/ telephone number ssa circle email address etc available in the form
for BSNL to take action and contact the concerned Exchange directly.
    via their network.
    3.
Did you make a complaint earlier ?
I got a call from my Exchange when I had given the first 4 numbers of my telephone number in the complaint form earlier.

no exchange codes on back of bill under account officer heading?

Details about your std code/ telephone number ssa circle email address etc available in the form for BSNL to take action and contact the concerned Exchange directly via their network.
problem is std code is same for almost 70% of nos. in my district but there are 3 offices each deal with a certain no. of exchanges situated at 3 different locations in district far away from each other.

Did you make a complaint earlier ?
I got a call from my Exchange when I had given the first 4 numbers of my telephone number in the complaint form earlier.
first time i didn't used the correct exchange code but instead name of place.i did got the call 2 days later from 3 different persons/nos. & after using the bsnl directory found out that all 3 calls came from 3 different exchanges/offices so my assumption is that if you use correct exchange code the redessal will be more prompt because 2nd time i used correct exchange code & got the call within few hours & this time call came from the exchange/office under which my area falls.
