Thread: How much is your average bill for BSNL UL 625 per month??

After getting excess bill for 500 FN Combo (2 mbps), I am switching it to Unlimited 625 (256kbps).
I can compromise with the speed (coz I m on holiday) but bill should not exceed beyond Rs. 700.

And yes I can avail 20% PSU discount on 625. So my rough estimate for this plan is :

My monthly average use : 6GB
Plan : BSNL Unlimited 625 (256 kbps)
Basic Plan Charges : 80% of 625 = Rs 500
(bcoz of 20% PSU employee discount)
Modem Charges : Rs 50
Service Tax (10.3%) : 10.3% of 625= Rs 64
Telephone charges : Nil (It is combo plan)
---------------Total : (500+50+64)= Rs. 614 (+/- 20)------------------

So friends, how much your bill are coming for this plan on average??
Anyone using this plan for 4-5 months or more, plz tell me how much are you paying??

If you use FireFox and use addons AdblockPLus/ flash Bloc and NoScript your average data usage will reduce by 25 to 40 %.

UL 625 is an unlimited plan and it also do not have any telephone rent. So if your usage is limited to internet, no matter how much you use, you won't get anything more than Rs. 625 + 10.3% tax. It also has 100 free calls. If you use anything more than that, you need to pay extra.

hi, i have the UL 625 plan, using it from the past 3 months. No rental for the fixed land line, 100 Free calls. The maximum bill amount does not exceed 700/-

average bill of 625 plan is about 552,if you are not execeed limit of 100 free calls

Please don't give such inaccurate answers. It is minimum Rs. 625 + 10.3 % tax unless you get 20 % discount for government employees.

I am on 750 UL Combo and my bill is

Fixed Charge - Rs.600 (After 20% discount)
Tax - Rs. 60

Total Rs. 660

It does not have free calls so sometimes about 5-10 calls comes in account but it never exceeds Rs.700

could anyone help me.iam currently using bsnl 625 unlimited combo.i have a fear tat the bill would exceed.whether in unlimited plans the bill would be constant.could any one clearly guide me.plz.........

You have not read Post No 7 by @meetdilip ?

UL 625 is an unlimited plan and it also do not have any telephone rent. So if your usage is limited to internet, no matter how much you use, you won't get anything more than Rs. 625 + 10.3% tax. It also has 100 free calls. If you use anything more than that, you need to pay extra.

If it is a new connection, security deposit,for telephone usage/ ( say Rs 500/=)Broadband one months rent ( rs 625/=/ installation charges. ( may be exempt but usually Rs 250/= for BB )
modem rent say Rs 50/= plus security deposit Rs 500
for modem will have to paid . Less advance if any, paid by you.
