Question Old problem new solution ?

Hello guys i have searched in forums here every time I had the crappy disconnection problem.. i flushed my dns, changed my mtu to 1492 .
Bribed the bsnl guy and got my wire fixed ...it had 7 joints at a place in a distance of 10 meters... Every worked nicely until few days ago...
Now I again get disconnect every few mins... But only if I am playing games like secondlife or modernwarfare 2 online... speed is ok around 0.50-0.60 mps but it gets disconnected.
I am worried have done some wrong configuration ..posting my ip config please suggest .
I am using windows vista , router or modem (the thing which shows dsl light hehe ) is ZTE ZXDSL 83A||

EDIT your message and delete all tunnel data.
Scrolling the page is bothersome .
No useful data. Uncheck IPV6 box in Network settings.

Try Google dns 8.8.8.8 also opendns 208.67.220.220
You May not like /try to change to "Always ON" PPPoE mode
    ( userID/PW entered/stored in WAN page )

In DSl menu uncheck ADSL2+ for stable connection.
    Recheck SNR/ATTN.

    Hi,

I am trying to connect the bsnl wifi on my itouch n htc wildfire s phone.
Both are able to connect to the wifi, with open network or even by providing security key (WEP/WAP etc.) but I am unable to access any web page or web application in either of my devices. The signal strength is execellent in both devices.

I am able to connect to the wifi and access the bsnl broadband without any issues on my laptop.

    Hi,
Can you please tell how to:

    1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode.

    2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

    3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection (all machines), set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

    Mine is AR800v 3.0.

Well I am attaching a few screenshots of how I set the PPPoE thing.
Can you please tell me what seems to be missing or what is wrong?

Sorry for posting twice. But I am at my wits end...trying to configure this thing.

    No problem

You need to edit the 0/35 entry in first screen shot and in the landing page you will find an option to choose between PPPoE and Bridge. Select PPPoE.

    Use this guide (Similar UI)

Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

In the modem you will find an option to enable DHCP (browse through to find the page).

To enable " Obtain IP address automatically ", go to control panel > Network places > Right click > properties > Select TCP/IP from the list (IP4 in case of Windows 7) > properties > Here you will find an option to set " Obtain IP address automatically.
