Thread: Do any1 of you who has done an annual advance payment still receive bill evry month?

I needed to know if anyone of you who has done an annual advance payment of any BBG combo or any other plan still receive bills every month. The reason I am asking is that I want 20% govt. rebate on annual payment which I have decided to make. But, the problem being faced is that their newly ongoing CDR software doesnot have any provision for 20% rebate on annual payment option. It has either monthly 20% option or simple annual payment option. So, I am being told to pay annual payment and that 20% would be adjusted in my first bill. But the question is when I would be making an annual payment, where does the question of bill arises. So, as per my understanding, I would not be receiving any bill. Hence, no adjustments. So, anyone out there, who knows about this that whether or not bills are received every month after you make annual payment in advance?

As Telephone bills are computer generated, , even if the amount is zero a bill will be issued.

(For instance even your Broadband usage will be metered daily and the usage portal will show 0 MB in summary for H24 U/L plans .

)If you have credit balance, it may be gradually reduced, in case you make excess phone calls beyond free limit. Check number of pulses for an ISD call.( whether you make one or not )

You should have made some security deposit for telephone usage, and broadband plans and any excess amount paid will be refunded , when you surrender the Phone connection..

Whatever bill, Computer generates, A.O(TR) can issue a revised bill later or accept now itself , annual payment giving extra 20% discount
to you.

I think, It was PujyaSri RamVilas Paswan, Minister for telecom, who ordered rent free/calls free telephone to all Central GOVT employees down to the Chowkidar level.( Also to most retired employees).
