Thread: Can't connect to the internet?

I have BSNL UL 1350 connection. It works awesome but today I am not able to connect to the internet anymore. I can connect my laptop to the wireless but there is no internet connectivity. I cannot open any website. My wireless router shows the WLAN and Internet light on. I also tried connecting using a different computer but it didn't work. I disconnected and connected again but it didn't work. what should I do? Any suggestions?

I typed Run->cmd->ipconfig

It shows "media disconnected" . what should I do?

1. Is connection working using ethernet cable ? Check and confirm.

2. Remove encryption / password and check.

3. Log in to modem and make sure that MAC filter is disabled.

If nothing works, mention modem - model and make

I cannot login to the modem as well. when I type 192.168.1.1 (my default gateway) in my browser. It does not show anything.

Tried points 1 and 2 ?
