Thread: Why BSNL so late in Processing Broadband application.

I have applied for broadband connection In Haryana on my bsnl landline in march, Still no broadband on my connection.
Enquired so many times but no reply from BSNL for so late, but they told me yesterday that now they are waiting for clearance from area J.E. in his computer software.



That reminds me : in 2000 there were 1.2 lakh Landline connections in my city, Now only ~14000 left. Dont think they are gonna last more years with same manner.

I think I should have applied for connection cut rather then broadband.

don't worry it's not only you facing the bsnl problems ; i got my connection after 1 month of application........ it really pissed me off !

if you want it fast try to use some source of approach to higher executives...

look i'm not encouraging you to work by unfair means but we all know the corrupt gov. services......!

it is the problem of your area. i got connection in 1 week after submitting the application

Check alternate ISP's plans.
BSNL you get Landlne phone without any monthly rent now.

It is quite normal with BSNL. My connection too took ages to get sanctioned. In some areas, they attend in no time. Make phone calls daily and enquire the status. You can also check with someone you know in the exchange.

I am ****,I have applied for a broadband connection on 25th apr11.But still no BB connection given on my telephone connection. I have made many visits in Area exchange regarding issue, still no improvements.
I tried to talk to senior BSNL Officers but they also refuse to comment on any time limit my connection will be given.
* This exchange well support BB in my area as myself availed BB from Aug10-Jan11.
Please take necessary action.

Not only BSNL, all PSU thinks that whether they do their job or not, they will get the salary. So why to bother.

I got call brom bsnl today that tomorrow they will give me BB connection & password.

Which plan do you got ? If any limited bandwidth plan (say limit 1 GB upload + download), you won't get full 1 GB for this month. You will get (12/30) X 1 GB.

Also make sure that you use a bandwidth meter (one from Networx or Shaplus will do) keep an eye on your usage.

Hope you got your portal ID and password. Also make sure you have your service user ID and password (used to connect to net).

If you are in a night unlimited plan, make sure you switch off the modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am so that your start and end time falls in 2 -8 slot. In some circles this is automated. Still worth checking.

I have 750 plan unlimited 512Kbps . Thats just 64KBPS but I am getting 50KBps on torrents.

Is there any way to speed up torrent.

Me too on UL 750. 50 KBps in torrents is normal. Use torrents from private trackers (has good seed to peer ratio) which gives better speed.

yesterday i requested to change my plan they promised to change it today but NOW BSNL OFFICERS(FUCKERS SHITTS HELLING NUB) ARE SAYING AFTER SOMEDAYS IT WILL BE CHANGED.lets book complaint?
