if you had filled up the from when applying for BroadbaND
Try the format shown in last item (D).

or contact Broadband section Your Telephone Exchange.

(chosenID_ ( last four digits of your telephone)@ bsnl.in
    abcd_1234 @bsnl.in Example.

For me it is username@bsnl.in. Password is password.

You can go to mail.bsnl.in try entering your email ID and password as described above. If nothing works, call your local exchange. They keep it in their records.

If still no success, check with SDE. Which plan do you use ? Some plans give more than on ID for free. But honestly, there is nothing great in BSNL email ID. If you are in a limited bandwidth plan, you will get a notification when bandwidth limit is crossed.

From log in page: for BB users & ( for old DIALUP 56Kbps sancharnet users )
Dear Sancharnet user, Welcome to your new Messaging portal.

Mailbox size has been increased (for retail users to 20Mb & business users to 100Mb).
You have an additional mail ID (username@bsnl.in). You can login using username@bsnl.in, username@sancharnet.in or with just the username

u have to call bsnl customer care to get the id if there is one. Not nessecery is will be with "_last 4diigt" like mine is #userid#@bsnl.in, no underscore and last digit of telephone number.

BSNL email service is worse.....its only advantage is that it supports smtp server and POP3 server but the amount of space provided is very less..
