I got new bsnl broadband connection today with username and password.When i go to the bsnl site to check usage it shows user authentication failed. plzz..... tell me how to check usage???????

BTW you will need a different User ID and PW for logging into BSNL portal.

You cannot log in to portal using your user name and password. It is used in dialer / modem to connect through your BSNL line.

Mention your location. BSNL portal differ for different locations. To log in to portal (data.bsnl.in) you need a 14 digit portal ID and password which you get from BSNL. Check with the staff, get your portal ID and password. Also confirm which portal is there for you. If any of the self care portals, you need to register there for an ID of your choice.

Till the portal work for you, use a bandwidth meter to keep an eye on your usage. Use one from Networx or Shaplus.

Check the link above by @ axel for more details. If you are using either Shaplus or Networx bandwidth meter, there is an option to disable the count during night unlimited.

I fill the form on bsnl west portal on sunday to check usage. Plzzzzz,tell me in how much time i will get my password.

You should get a confidential letter from BSNL within 7 days, if not received yet go to exchange and ask in person.

I get my user id and Password today.I am posting my usage details..Plzzzzz tell me if it is ok?????????? My bb plan is 500c....

My ShaPlus bandwidth meter showing only 120 MB usage and Bsnl showing 620 MB (Monthly Totals). Why there is so much difference in counting usage????? or anyone else using my connection???????

What is your perception ? Have you really used that much ?

Check if proper adapters are selected in Shaplus meter settings. Always use an alternate bandwidth meter to compare the data. Try one from Networx.
