Unhappy weird problem!! not finding solution pls help!!

I have this weird problem from past 3-4 months with UL750 connection. Modem is data one WA3002G4. While using, the modem reboots all on its own. WLAN,internet and DSL Lights go off except power light and then restarts again. after its restarted it redirects to yahoo.com no matter what link or address u go.. the frequency of this varies- sometimes it wont happen at all and sometimes it happens every 2 mins. i use the wifi on my laptop and mobile and desktop with cable.. it happens on all the three. i have two different connections with different phone numbers, it happens on both of them.. i have tried resetting the modem, it stops for a day but the problem comes back...
    someone please help!

    (1)
Presume you use only one connection at a time in ialer"'Bridged" mode.
(You enter userid/pw and login in the system window.) confirm
    (2)
    Mention OS
    used in laptop.
    used : in Desktop
Mention Browser used : IE /FireFox/Chrome /Opera etc.
Normal Home page , selected if any.
    (3)
    Copy/paste ipconfig /all data.
ONLY LAN and WLAN ( NO tunnel data please )
or post as attachment here. *.doc file.
    (4)
    Quickfix
    disable client TR_069. confirm disabled.

    1. Do you face the same in all browsers ? Or in just one browser ?

    2. Check the add/remove programs and uninstall all Yahoo toolbar and similar entries.

    3. Are you sure you are directed to Yahoo and not a phishing site ? Check the URL and confirm.

    4. Presume you connect only one line at a time. If you use two ethernet cables to the same PC, it can happen.

    disable client TR_069. confirm disabled
    .
In Modem setttings Under Management. or Advanced Options.
This is enabled by ISP ( usually AIRTEL), and handshake traffic
could be on: leading to instability.

    (3)
    Copy/paste ipconfig /all data.
If you don't want to post this , forget it.

    (5) Disable Wireless in Modem and try only desktop.

    (6) Can you check Hosts file in VISTA ?

    feedback.

For fault finding Peculiar problems :all inputs are required .
    I check the ethernet/wireless card details/
    your selection of DNS
whether connected in "Bridged" mode or
    "Always On" PPPoE mode
    The data cannot be misused..
    Avoid tunnel data.
    Para two :
    Any problem solving simplify it.
(1)Use Ubuntu ( I don't Know) connect desktop in LAN.
result ? connection stable ? Home page misdirection ?
    (2) switch off Desktop. test in Laptop LAN mode VISTA OS)
    (3)then WIFI mode.
( 4) Hosts Page equivalent for Ubuntu I don't know.
DNS is "Enable Automatic Assigned DNS" selected.

1.it is redirecting to this link
    http{}://in.my.yahoo.{}com/p/1.{}html?_{}pckpartner=bsnl&_{}top=1
(remove " {} ") im suspecting its a phishing link.
2 & 3. desktop is always on LAN.laptop is always in WIFI mode. just tried laptop in LAN mode, dint make difference .
4.ubuntu equivalent of chrome is chromium and its google homepage.

will Update with lan and wlan data shortly

Prefer try in SAFE mode with internet connection.

    (8) Check Modem/router settings:
    http://tinyurl.com/essbebe-wa3002-g4-compilation
    Enable Firewall.
    Check DNS: Select Obtain automatically.

    (9) try this tool

Are you facing redirection in both no.s ? If so, check with your ISP. Interchange the modem. Say use Modem A on connection 2 and Modem B on connection 1 and check.

Presume redirection in both WiFi and ethernet modes. Mention modems, model no and make.

Check the DNS in your PC. Set it as 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220. If still no go, enter these values in modem and check.
