Default Problem viewing mails using BSNL wireless modem

Recently I switched to BSNL wireless type 2 modem. Since then I have been unable to view my emails. With Yahoo I am able to log in and view the list of mails. but once I click on a mail, I am unable to go back to messages. The hotmail account, when logged in always throws up a mesage saying server too busy.

I would appreciate any help in resolving this problem.
    Thanks,
    Anantha

    Default Problem resolved

Took the technical helpdesk's guidance (call 12678 for Chennai). The ADSL not connecting was due to the parallel phone (cordless) connection that I use. So I unhooked the phone and the link was OK after that.

The viewing of mails problem was resolved by getting into the modem settings (192.168.1.1). In interface setup I had to reset the TCP MTU value to zero). In advanced setup I had to go to the ADSL select the Autosyncup for ADSL mode. Then I had to sysrestart the modem

Try using Outlook Express to Mail your contacts and where do you stay? In Bangalore you have to Dial 1500 and ask them.
