    1. Mention modem, model and make.

    2. Post your SNR and attenuation values.

    3. Check splitter and ethernet cable. Use a spare and make sure that they are not faulty.

    4. Does it power restart ? If yes, check the modem's power adapter.

    5. If possible try a friend's modem at your place and check. It will help you confirm if it is a modem fault or not.

    6. As a last restort, reset the modem to factory defaults and reconfigure it.

Check if there is disturbance in the phone line first, had similar issue before.

Next check modem settings where the lease time is more than 60 mins etc.

    Try this

    1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

    2. Enter ID and password as admin

    3. Check the landing page. You will find upstream and downstream values for SNR and Attenuation.

    For reference : http://tinyurl.com/essbebe-wa3002-g4-compilation

Checked splitter and ethernet cable ?

Bypass splitter, connect the line directly to the modem and check.
