Thread: Bsnl uld 900

Hi,
I am using BSNL ULD 900 plan which allows me to download with a speed of 4mbps(~512kbps transfer rate) till 8 GB & then 256 till the next month & the router I ve been provided with is Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600 , 2 days into the new month my download speed has dropped astonishingly on 3 June Speedtest.net showed me my download speed something around 3.9 mbps & today it showed a shocking 0.06 mbps & at the most i ve downloaded around 3.5-4GB.
So if somebody can point out a problem I ll be grateful also if there is any other info which I am supposed to provide please let me know.

Don't rely on speedtest.net. Download any file from Microsoft and check your speed.

If nothing works, talk to the SDE of your exchange.

My browsing speed has also decreased considerably I ve no clue what's going on plus I m not able to check my usage as selfcare site says some BS that my browser doesn't support something calledd " Web Dynpro" :/

Tried using IE ? Always use a bandwidth meter. Get one from Networx or Shaplus.

Download any file from Microsoft and report the speed here (just to confirm).

Tried both IE6 as well as IE8 none working
The maximum transfer rate i got while downloading from microsoft was 133kbps
P.S : I was downloading with IDM

Some error at exchange it seems. Or may be some virus infection consuming bandwidth. Check with SDE of exchange.

Is no browser compatible with this Web Dynpro ? I was able to check usage in IE8 some days back but today it says My Browser doesn't support this Web Dynpro Stuff..

IE8 is the problem , as most Web Dynpro applications are set to default to IE6.
Use the Compatibility View (the little broken page icon at the right of the address bar in the top of your IE window). This should load your program fine by using IE 7 parameters.

Tried every thing , IE6 IE8 Firefox 3.6 Opera 10 none is working :/
