Question Please help me, I want some reviews on BSNL broadband

please let me how is the service of bsnl broadband in Delhi-NCR(ghaziabad) area or just UP(west) near ghaziabad

Just tell me if they quickly respond your complaints and queries or not and how is their service?, does the internet connection stay online constantly and how is the speed compared to the promised speed and performance you get from bsnl broadband??

As I am going to switch to bsnl which I had been avoiding because of bad reviews and personal experience of govt. staff of bsnl but now I think they have gone semi-private so there would be more responsible and customer service concious workers at bsnl due to high competition in internet market today

also let me know which plan do you use and how are the charges from installation/modem/monthly charges and which plan should I go for that would suit me under Rs.800 per month budget???

i dont know about NCR but in UP West it is good as i am also using it

i got the connection in 1 week after submitting application in exchange as i was already having connection of BSNL landline.

i am using UL 750 plan with 20% discount and my modem is Nokia Siemens 1600 router which i bought for 1750 from BSNL. i didnt paid any installation charges as at my time it was free.

    This is the speed result

connectivity availability is 98% in my area in and service of staff is also ok.

if you have BSNL landline you will get connection quite fast otherwise it can take little time.

As of all government offices they are also lazy and you will not get connection till you will visit exchange atleast 5 times

youtube runs without buffering at 240p and with little buffering at 360p. download speed is also good and i get about 500-600 kbps even without torrents

till now i have not made any complaint to BSNL so i cant tell how much time they take to solve the problem

I am sorry to say but if you are not making a mistake, doesn't this mean 0.56MBPS = 56KBPS AND 0.31MBPS=31KBPS as the plan that you mentioned provides 512 kbps unlimited bandwidth=64kbps download, bsnl doesn't even have a connnection that could provide 600x8=4800=5mbps
    thanks for your help....

    For Download

    .56 Mbps= .56x1024= 573.44 kbps

    573.44/8= 71.68 KBPS

    For Upload

    .31 Mbps= 317.44 kbps

    317.44/8= 39.68 KBPS

BSNL can provide you speed of upto 24Mbps at Rs.6999/month (250 GB) at ADSL and on FTTH of upto 100Mbps at Rs.83999/month (unlimited).

The only thing can you afford it and whether it is available in your city or not?

i live in UP West (cant tell actual location)

i use 750 UL so its basic charge is Rs. 750. After 20% discount it becomes Rs.600 and after 10% tax on Rs.600 it becomes Rs.660

So i pay Rs.660 every month and it is 512 kbps unlimited plan

    Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

My recommendation is to take either BB Home Combo UL 750 (512 Kbps unlimited) or
BBG Combo ULD 1350(4 Mbps upto 20 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 20 GB ) , rest all plans r .....

my friend is using bsnl connection in ghaziabad vasundhara region.connectivity is good & speed as promised technically but i will not recommend relying on their technical support.for technical issues this forum is better option.my recommendation is 750combo UL plan so you won't have to pay separately the landline bill.

P.S.bsnl is a pure govt company & will remain so for a long time to come(political compulsion).only installation, bill collection etc have been outsourced to pvt agencies.
