No. You will be charged rent + tax and extra charges per MB if exceeded the usage limit. No charges for call if you are using only broadband. But you need to pay according to the calls made from land line (if any). You can also choose Combo plan if you do not want to pay your monthly telephone rent. There are a few combo plans with free calls. In that case you can use free calls and at the same time need not pay the telephone rent.
I want an unlimited connection, I already have a bsnl telephone connection for a very very long time so no hassel for landline installation..I called on bsnl call centre few years back and they told me that bsnl will also apply call charges like dial up for using internet, which means that when I would use internet it will also apply call rate for the time duration till I am using internet.
It will not matter with the extra usage as those charges would be applicable as per extra usage!
but now as you have told that they have changed the criteria, Its okay, thanks for your help

Adding call charges ended long time back. They must be ignorant.
