Unhappy BSNL Wifi (AR800v 3.0 Modem) Connection with itouch & htc wildfire s

    Hi,

I am trying to connect the bsnl wifi on my itouch n htc wildfire s phone.
Both are able to connect to the wifi, with open network or even by providing security key (WEP/WAP etc.) but I am unable to access any web page or web application in either of my devices. The signal strength is execellent in both devices.

I am able to connect to the wifi and access the bsnl broadband without any issues on my laptop.

Please help. I have tried all the PPPoE settings and other things listed in Forums. But nothing is working.

everything seems to be ok as far as your router is concerned
on your htc desire log to 192.168.1.1
if you r able to log to 192.168.1.1 then there is no problem with the settings both in ur modem and phone

Delete all Tunnel data in your ipconfig/all data. details not needed.
Appears you are using Dialer mode to connect .
Change over to PPPoE mode ( "always On") and enter your userid/pw in wan page of modem/router.

In the TCP/IP properties of your modem, set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

    Configure wlan settings as follows

Thanks for all of urs suggestions n Sorry for bothering again n again...bt if I set the PPPoE mode my net stops working altogether broadband & wifi both.
Its like a vicious circle. Once I remove the PPPoE mode from 0/35 and change it bak to Bridging atleast I am able to connect through broadband bt then again my wifi has stopped working completely.
I ve tried changing the TCP/IP Config n everything bt still all waste.
Is there any solution out of this??
How to get bak the wifi n broadband to work normal...leaving apart the htc n itouch issues.

Edit your post No 1 and delete tunnel data for further response from me.
Or delete completely and post as atttachment *.doc

VPI VCI for BSNL 0 and 35.
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...ppoe-setup.png
In dialer mode modem selects 0 and 35 and connects
In PPPoE mode it is shown as 0 and 38. so no connection !!!
You cannot have two entries for same link 0 and 35. in modem.

If you want the "Bridged" settings for later use , check option in router how to BACKup settings to Harddisk file.
    Not very important now.
If you want you can DELETE all other lines except 0_35. (OPTIONAL)
    wait....

Edit this line and select PPPoE in NExt page
    Then enter your userId/PW etc.
Screen shots posted in Post No 7 will be useful.
If you want link with screen shots check my signature link Teracom "

    Para two:
Thanks.Scrolling the page up and down ( with unwanted data )
is a strain for the members
and those interested will see the attachment.

    Feedback please.

    page loads like 20-30%

    1. Which browser do you use on phone ? Try Opera Mini and check.

    2. Remove encryption / password and check.

    3. Are you able to connect using a laptop ? Try using one and update.

    4. Were you ever been able to connect any device successfully to your WiFi ?

    Try this guide

    @airtrend

    Diwali greetings.
Follow the settings as shown in this link.
Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem

Confirm Laptop gets connected in WIFI mode.

If still problem copy/paste ONLY wlan data from ipconfig /all
( no tunnel data etc ). Mention OS used.
