Thread: need to change username everytime?

hello,
i have bsnl combo 600 plan in broadband..i had cancelled bsnl broadband and again started this month..

so i got new username in modem login (192.***.*.*)..so i need to login to modem each time and change username everytime i switch on modem..

any permenent solution?

complained to bsnl cc 4 times but no answer yet..

For 192.168.1.1, user name and password is admin. If another, you have no other option but to reset the modem and configure it again. Or ask the person who installed at your home.

How do you connect to Internet ?
(A)Do you use Dialer and enter USERID and PW in a window in system to connect ?
or
your USERID and PW entered/stored
in the WAN page of the modem ?
Get connected to Internet as soon as system and Modem switched On?
USERID : example ab2222334455 @bsnl.in PW password

(C) Modem access default is admin and PW admin
Were you given any other ID such as " multiplay"?
What is the modem/make/model/number ?

(D) RESET usually a small hole in the rear or bottom of the modem.
With power on press with a Ball pen refill for about 10 to 20 seconds.
All will be factory settings.
You can try ( A) now.
(E) or
If you can access the modem menu items
see Under Management/Tools and select RESET option there.

there will be a small hole located on the back of your modem name Reset button use it or reset from WAN configuration settings.
