Get your line checked by the line man. Ask him to give a clean line without joints or non insulated parts. Also

    1. Check your ethernet cable and splitter. Use a spare and make sure they are not faulty.

    2. Does it give a power restart ? ie, does the power goes off while restarting. If yes, check the power adapter of your modem.

    3. Make sure no lines come before splitter. Check this diagram

    4. Bypass the splitter, connect line directly to the modem and check.

    5. If nothing works, reset the modem and configure it again.

    1) I have no extra splitter..Is there any specific splitter I should buy ?
    2) Sometimes, data and link light restarts
    3) No phone files between splitter (I have open line from box outside to Splitter)

Just check with the dealer and tell him splitter for BSNL. They will understand.

If possible try a friend's modem at your place (just change the username and password to your's) and check. By that way you can confirm it is modem specific.

Presume you connected the line directly to the modem and tried.

I am sorry for loss of connection by you.
Tested with my Beetel 110TCI with different mod modes, but only adsl2 and adsl2 + worked. Lost connection in other settings.
To improve snr and for a stable connection and to reduce the sync rate, we have always tried GDMT mode.

    From the box outside:

Line 1 - Internal Wiring to all rooms (Telephone connected in 1 room only)
Line 2 - Going to Splitter (Open) - No telephone connected

Today (evening 7:15 pm), I disconnected telephone from Line 1
After that, there is a change in SNR and no disconnection till now..

Is this was the problem ?
or Should I call them to check line ?

Still the attenuation data is not satisfactory.

Normally should be better. ( compare mine with three different modems) ) If connection is stable , observe some more time.
Try mod mode ADSL ( GDMT connection was lost earlier )
Check cable connectors for for rusting/oxidization/high resistance contacts.

What is the reason of high value of SNR Margin upstream (in OLD) ?
not a reliable reading . may be Telephone was off hook or somebody was talking. repeat test again.without any adsl splitter anywhere.
Update with 110TCI SNR improved. Attn not much change.

    Update with 110BXI

Today lineman checked the line.....he said...line is clear, no noise.
But still disconnection problem is there...

I noticed one thing....during night, no problem of disconnection.

What may be the problem during day time ??

    Default Modem Beetel 110TCI

Check BP/ temp /ECG during day time and night time every three hours !
I mean SNR/ATTN and speed tests for the modem!!
A graph showing the speeds possible in this web site.
My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...d-graph-sm.jpg
compare speed graphs for both modems( if available.)
seems good improvement with BEETEL 220BXI. (POST No 17)
    Which modem you use now.?
Check Firmware upgrade for 110TCI in my sig link 220BX.

    Today BSNL changed the port.

Now,it's on GDMT mode...(ADSL2 mode not working)

Problem is...Internet stops working for a min (All lights ON)

    Reading on Beetel 110TC1

    1) Is there any problem with router ?? (Problem on other modem also)

    2) Should I change the line from bsnl box (outside my home) to modem ? (There is no noise in the line...)

    3) Should I change splitter,all 3 cables ??

    4) Is there any difference in cables
    a) Splitter to telephone
    b) Splitter to router
    c) Splitter to main line

    5) From the bsnl box outside my phone...there are two connections
    a) Connected to internal telephone wire line (for phone connection to all rooms, but no phone connected)
    b) Connected to open wire from terrace to my room
Is there any problem with this ?

    Angry Frequent Disconnection issue

I'm from Kolkata and using BBG FN 500 plan for 4yrs. Recently I'm also facing frequent disconnection issue. Speed is also worse even during browsing. Disconnection occurs several times and sometimes it is associated with ADSL light in the modem going off and sometimes ADSL remains steady.Voice clarity is worst in our landline with low pitch continuous humming noise. Other callers cannot hear our voice but we can hear them. After complaining several times one BSNL guy showed up and replaced our phone but same problem with new one.... Maybe it's a line issue.

Anyone from (Behala)Kolkata Telecom circle experiencing similar problems ????

    Modem Config ....
