    Default PPPoE mode not working...

    hi

I am using pronet PN 101e/u router to connect BSNL net.
in bridge mode it works perfectly however whenever i change it to PPPoE mode i am not able to browse internet.
it seems there are very less users using the same router as i am so i am not sure i have configure the PPPoE mode correctly.

P.S. i want to connect this modem to wifi router cisco wrt120n thats why i want PPPoE (always on) mode.everythings works perfectly on bridge mode but minute i turn off my pc i no longer can use WIFI which basically is the main problem.
Please help me out.check out attachments for reference.

This modem is same as Beetel 110BXI/220BXI/DB108/UT300r2u new etc and many other models.
    ( Minor differences possible)
    http://www.calcutta.bsnl.co.in/dataoneinstall/mu04.html

Check Hardware board number SW/FW versions may be different.

    Select EDIT in WAN page.
    VPI/VCI will show 0 and 35
Next uncheck "bridged" and select PPPoE
    Next
ENTER your USERID without @bsnl.in PW
    Next Next etc SAVE
Enable DHCP ( in LAN page also ) UpnP if needed.
    SAVE REBOOT in MANAGEMENT menu.

    Check my signature link/s WA3002-g4 or 220BX
    Feedback.

    To edit the wan settings

check WAN under Advanced setup. for EDIT button.
Insert will be deleted later :about 25KB.

    2.
Manual is showing MTNL vpi/vci 0 and 32.
Modem correctly set to 0 and 35 for "Bridged" mode for BSNL BB.
    Factory default??

Actually i tried CD only, on first attempt and it was set up too but the problem was my pronet router was in bridge mode so minute i turn off the PC i no longer could surf internet through wifi. so i tried changing my modem settings from bridge to PPPoE. It was very painful process for PRONET modem as they have given every little detail on the config page. Also there is very little help available on the internet regarding configuration of this modem/router.
i would not suggest new user to go for this modem as i found their configuration process very hard and not handy if you want to change it manually.

    @ishan1234
Congratulations , for cracking a difficult/intricate job of converting an adsl modem from "bridged" (dialer) mode to PPPoE ( always On") connection,on PNadsl101E adsl modem.
Presume you did not find the screen shots posted by me useful, or the user manual, specially posted for you by @mvs sarma.

    Your feedback,
does not /will not help any other member /user having the
same modem: rather discourages buying/ .using the modem !!!
This is the best joke of the month !!!

Check this link, where a new member@Pinakiraj has taken the screen shots of all 40 pages of a modem and posted in this forum , which will be useful to other users./members & for benefit of others.
    wait.....
