    Unhappy Duped by fraudster

    Hi everyone,
There has been a fraudster who is roaming in city going to houses telling that BSNL has launched a new offer where he will lure you with exciting offers. He did to us and said to pay 2500 as security deposit which will be refunded later and went away saying he'll come in the evening but never returned. He told we'll be gettting 3G connection for 400 per month with a new sim where, one bsnl number,it'll be unlimited talktime free and free data card for laptop.
I'm writing this here so that people in bangalore will be cautious and dont get duped like me. Never entertain any one with out seeing there ID card and do confirm with bsnl before you pay for any reason to that person.

Thanks for the warning. BSNL never ask cash during installation. All charges will come with the first bill. Keep this in mind.

I am sorry that this happened with you. But these incidents can happen with anyone in life.

I hope people got a lesson here that never entertain strangers other to those who have been to your place or whom you know personally. Always ask and check for a genuine ID card and report to Police and concerning authorities if you find someone suspicious.
    Thanks for warning people..

I didnt know this. Also people educating others is lot less these days. I never had a clue 'l face this scenario but we'l learn when it happens to us. I'm actually careful always but this time i was out and my mother was there who couldn't sense something was wrong. Its ok. 2500 bugs. Hope 'l be more careful from now on.

    My pleasure.
You know the best part was. I talked to him in evening,he did pick up his phone,he said he'l come tomorrow when he didn't turn up that next day. Later he stopped answering the phone. He is a professional fraudster I must say. I have informed authorities but as they say, better be safe than sorry
