Hi All,
First of all, this site is awesome. I've been browsing through forums for hours and though of putting up my query.

I download about 60 GBs a month on my 256k airtel connection which has unlimited usage and gives a speed pf 20-25 on private tracker torrents !
Be it day day or night, my speed remains between 20-25.

I have now made up my mind to shift to MTNL (wanted bsnl but they aren't avbl. in Delhi ) but the tariffs they had on their website made me fell of my chair laughing ..

Could anyone please tell me that MTNL has new plans ?

If so then I need a plan which has about 2Mbps Speed and atleast 30gigs free download. I saw something like this on bsnl website but mtnl ...

Wrong section.. pls direct your post to the MTNL section. I dont think any BSNL user can give you suggestions about MTNL plans. I wish you luck with your search.

I just got a dataone connection Home 500 plan.

First day i had a problem in connecting. The user name in my UT STARCOM300R2U had been changed to multiplay and i could not browse any website even thought my modem was on.

Then i created a dial up connection and selected broadband. I gave my dataone user id and password and clicked dial and it got connected immediately (i guess this is what is called as bridge mode)?. When i connected this way, i could browse and i could download 420MB on UTorrent in one hour.

Since i am a newbie, please do guide me on the optimum configuration for my modem and for UTorrent. I plan to download a lot during the 2-8 free time.

I checked the many help-posts but i could not understand them.

Please do help me guys. I will be very grateful
