Thread: Connecting Belkin n150 wifi router to BSNL UTSTARCOM modem UT300R2U

OK folks, i have made a silly mistake. i have ordered belkin's n150 wifi router assuming that it functions as a modem too. anyway, i have UTSTARCOM modem which was provided by bsnl and it's model no. is UT300R2U. i want to know whether i can connect the belkin router to this modem or not. if i do then it's okay, otherwise i will have to cancel the order.
NB: it's very urgent. let me know about it asap.

Yes . will work. connect ut300r2u in Always On PPPoe mode
( userid/PW entered/stored in wan page )

connect rj45 cable from computer end to wan port of Belkins wifi router.
connect another rj45 from lan 1 of Belkins to computer.
follow wizard if available.
Check "Broadband How to ...." forum for guide by @Just4kix
for similar set up.
