    Default WIFI channel and spectrum

    Can someone shed some light on WIFI channels and Spectrum !

    Is 2.4 Ghz standard here in India.

    What about the channels ?

    The default for mins is channel 11. Are other channels permitted ? Which is the default channel ?

    Someone plss help me regarding this !

    A Wi-Fi signal occupies five channels in the 2.4 GHz band. Check in wikipedia for Wi-Fi
