Need help to tweek bsnl 4mbps speed connection Hello Guys,
I am new to this forum and I just wanted to know is there any trick to increase or get back the speed of 4 mbps after exceeding 8gb. Its really bore to download at 30 kbps torrents after enjoying the 300kbps download speed.
Please do help me in this regards.. Thanks in advance...

calculate how much you can d/l. for same time spent with your
present plan. 8GB ( say 5 days ?)+ 32KB/sec 1.8MB/min 100MB/hour 12hours/dayx25==38 GB ( approx calculations )
Home 750 512 Kbps 64KB/sec 3.6MB/min say 200MB/hourx12x30days =72GB approx calculations)

The Maximum You can do is to avoid restarting your modem
Suppose You Have Used 7.9 GB Of Your 8 GB Limit..
I suggest u to avoid restarting your modem so that your ip address wont changes and you can download over 8 gb with 4mbps.....

They should have atleast provided 1Mbps post Fair Usage Policy, directly changing it to 256Kbps after the download limit frustrates the user a lot and feels like killing thyself lol.
