Default Port Forwarding on VAN1020-21 router

My laptop connects to the router thorugh the WiFi link and my desktop through an RJ45 cable.

I need to host a web page with XAAMP and need to do port forwarding to either my laptop or desktop. I guess its the same procedure in both cases.

I have reached upto the screen as attached and need guidance to complete the process. ( If I change my PCs IP to a static one, Internet access is not happening and thus I am a bit confused as to Port Forward)

    Thanks

Not sure if it will help, but can try No - IP or Dyndns for static IP.

For port forwarding, try guide for your modem at portforward.com

Possibly you did not read my query fully ! My actual problem was the WIN OS limitation where it does not allow you to have a Static IP & Auto DNS at the same time. But one tip from a site solved this issue - I simply allocated 192.168.1.50 as my laptop IP and entered the Router's IP ( 192.168.1.1 ) as the DNS and thats it. The router now does a proxy job for DNS resolution.

I think now Port forwarding must not be an issue as I have a fixed IP to port to and of course for the WAN side IP of router I can always use DynDNS.
