No other way. RESET ( with power on ) for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Check my signature link WA3002_g4 for screen shots settings etc.
If you had a back upfile of old settings open modem/router and load it.
    See Management menu.

PS: try user PW password or support PW password.

You are on a monologue here and no reply or feedback to me what you did
. Should I presume YOU RESET the modem and then again you cannot acccess 192.168.1.1

If you are using the same modem to connect to Internet
    Check.
    http://www.hideyouripaddress.net
    http://whatismyipaddress.com/

    say 117.xx.xx.xx
    retype in Browser address bar.
    try again.

Or check ipconfig /all for default (modem) gateway.

May I presume that the O P 'miluvyas" might not know how to reset. perhaps he feels shy to accept it.
after working for 40 years in telecom, there are many things I don't know. see the bottom of the Modem.
there are set of square holes forming 11*8matrix. the one end there is an additional ROUND hole. take a ball pen refill and push inside for say 5 to 10 sec, while power is ON . then modem would restart with factory defaults loaded.

After that, use the user guide and re program your mode, now you will be able to use admin, and admin as user name , and password.

    hope the clarification helps miluvyas

I am sorry. I have stopped accepting Friend's request from now on.
PM facility has turned into a BLOG site for me !! specially by new members. I will acccept friend's request from members after a period of time ( say three months ) and from regular contributers ( if they still want to : which is unlikely!!! .)
I cannot remember the subject or linked thread. Also info exchanged
not available to other members at a later date. 100 posts allowed for me and have to delete most of them periodically.
    2.
Please allow me to try to help all members in my own ignorant way , and also learn something from @brightstar, or @beaconstar who do lot of research study/ etc. and post messages here.

    Thanks Essbebe,
i was thinking of this old one. Unless one gets an issue with modem, perhaps many wont be interested to see the old posts. This has been my observation.
