    Default ASL2 modem power LED ons and off.

    sir, I am using bsnl broad with ADSL-2 modem UTSTRCOM make modelUT300R2U
    when powered for short time the power LED is glowing and immediately it stops and USB modem glowing. local area network connects and disconnects.

    No loose connections.
    instead of 10 Vdc adopter we are using 9v adopter.
    will this be a reason. please trouble shoot and fix it.

    Try using another power adapter and check. May be it got faulty. You can also take it to BSNL exchange and check from there.

    How do you connect modem to PC ? USB or ethernet ? If USB, try Ethernet and check.

    Dont connect other adaptors.. it will damage the chips inside it..
