Bonjour Fellas!
I just bought a new router from BSNL. Which is also known as BSNL Type - II modem. Model name: AN1020-21
The guy from BSNL who came to my home created PPPOE based PVC under Internet Connection of the Configuration section in router settings.
His settings was exactly as written in the manual:
He deleted all factory setting's PVC.
Created PPPOE based PVC
with VPI - 0 and VCI - 35
He stored my username and password into the router settings.
By which my BSNL router was connected with the internet 24/7. Mostly I use Linux (ubuntu) and I have night unlimited plan. So, I was actually kinda interested of having settings which allowed me to connect with the internet with PPPOE dialler within the Operating System.
So, I deleted that PVC and created new bridging based PVC with same combination of VPI and VCI. But, It was no longer usable because I wasn't able to connect through my cell or PSP and use the internet.
So finally I have the same settings which were before. (PPPOE based PVC)
My problem is:
I need to have both PVCs.
1) PPPOE based PVC for my gadgets. (WLAN)
2) Bridging based PVC for my physical connection (Desktops).
BUT, PROBLEM is VPI and VCI combinations.. I have assigned 0 and 35 to PPPOE - PVC.. Same is not allowed for any other PVC... Do you guys know how can I keep them both?
Thank You.
