Default Unable to save "Wireless Network" Settings

    Hi guys,
I have BSNL Type-II modem. Model Name: AN1020-21

My problem is: I am unable to save WEP key settings under Wi-Fi section. When I will select Key Method to: Direct Key (in stead of Pass Phase) and will give 10 Digit number for 64bit WEP encryption type. When the next time I'm restarting my modem.. That settings are just gone. Even though when I will reboot my modem right after changing that settings!

Please help me out from this.. This is really getting on my nerves. It is pretty obvious that I won't be able to connect to Wi-Fi until and unless I'm starting my computer and change that setting everytime!

Resetting may work. Take a back up of working settings before you attempt it. You can later restore if settings go wrong.

Please note that resetting will set the values of modem to factory default. Try only if you know what you are doing.

Yes, I tried resetting to default factory settings.. I just got this router a week back. & I know how to create a new PVC to connect to the internet under pppoe. "Internet Connection" settings are working fine.. It's just a Wireless network section is giving me a hard time.

    I'm attaching a photo too.
    Wireless Network:
Basic Settings Advanced Settings MAC Address Filter Radius Server

~~) I have kept channel to manual and Select Channel to: 11 because I read somewhere to keep it If I wanted to connect mobile. I have tried WEP Key Authentication Mode to both. But settings will be reset of Key Method once I'm restarting the router.

Of course, essbebe! My settings will be the same whenever I open that page without restarting my router.

& Once I'm restarting router, I won't be able to connect to Wi-Fi connect. I'll get "Remote Host not responding".

Disable "Nitroxm piggyback." No idea what this setting means !
    UPDATE:
NitroXM PiggyBack: Piggyback refers to interleaving the TCP Ack return flow with the TCP Data Flow.
    WMM enabled.

    Hi essbebe,
I just got it solved.. I set up "104 bit WEP (26 digit long) key to use 128 Bit WEP" instead of "40 bit (10 digit long) WEP key to use 64 Bit WEP". Also I changed my PVC (based on PPPoE) settings to "Dial On Demand" and enabled the "Consider the LAN side traffic only". I don't know why it didn't work with 64 bit encryption but I really don't care because I have no problems remembering 26 digit long key. So far, I restarted router 2 times and seems to work fine!

Just for knowledge purpose: [Came into studies last year.. lol]
Piggyback in network means, attaching acknowledgement frame of successful receiving of data packets sent by sender, to the another request frame or data frame sent by us... This saves time & number of transmission frames sending the instead of frames (One Acknowledgement of successful transmission of last frame and 2nd another request for data package from us) individually.

    Thanks for your kind replies.
