Thread: Anything special about 117.x ?

I have been a BSNL customer for a long while now. But only recently, did I change to a multi-play enabled plan.

This changed my IP from 59.x to 117.x

Just out of curiosity - any reason why they had to change the IP address..? All the engineer told me was that this is a "special" series. Doh! What a douchebag...

And seriously - does this affect anything in general..? I was trying to pick their brains asking why they had to alter the IP address...

You get better usage portal and from what I heard, service is better than 59.xx series.

Heh heh heh, both usage portals reeked. The old one was downright pathetic. The new one is less than 1% better.

I was depending on ShaPlus all along and now even that has ceased to work (getting an error). Not that I am overtly concerned now 'cos am on an unlimited plan... But still, it is a pity.

Better service, you say? Hmmm... Hope so!
