    Default pages open very slowly

    Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128

    Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

    my plan is 900ul(4mbps)

    pages open very slowly even google take 10 secs

    can anyone tell what the problem is???????

    Try the following DNS and check

    208.67.222.222, 8.8.8.8

    If changing the DNS settings did not work, you can check if you have some proxy enabled in your settings. Go to Internet Options-->Lan settings and disable any proxy if you have. This is the case only for PPPoE mode.

    where will i find internet option button

    what does TTL means my friends TTL is 62 mine is 127
    will it effect net speed?????

    My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
    2.
    Download tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net/

    keep the slider at the speed you have opted with your ISP

    Select optimal values.

    Check speed again.

    Start->control panel->network and internet connections ->internet options in windows xp
    and network n sharing center->Internet options in 7

    actually the problem is still not solved i thought of calling the bsnl linemen so he can check my line since i also have net connection problem i will lose net after evening or during rain
