Thread: need help for connecting wifi router

hello guys i need help regarding my wifi router, my router is dna a211 provided by bsnl, all my computers are connected through wireless networking , i want that i have control over my internet so i could connect/disconnect it through dialup(bridge mode) as it is currently in ppoe mode .. help me to do it so.. i dont know the steps...

No. to connect other systems to internet.you have to be in PPPoE mode.

cant i connect or disconnect through dial up connection as we can do it when we are connected through lan

You can simply disable LAN and there by disconnect net from PC. If you need to connect more than one machine simultaneously, you need to be in PPPoE.

actually i mean to say that if i disconnect from internet, all computers should be able to connect network through wifi but do not have access to internet is that possible

If OS is windows 7 you can connect lan cable . No need to remove it when in wifi mode.
create Dialer ( wanminiport ) to connect one system in Lan.
Other systems in LAN to be connected via switch.( not sure )
Now when you want WIFI you have to reset modem/router to PPPoE
mode ( enter userid/pw in wan page ) Reboot.

Not possible unless you use some cyber cafe tools using which you can stay on network but disable internet.
