    Default Modem Failure

Currently I am on 750UL HOME Plan of BSNL BROADBAND.From the beginning
I was getting 52-58KBps download speed, but for a few weeks I am getting
40-52KBps.I ran a troubleshooting from 192.168.1.1 and I saw four FAILs
(See attachment please).I contacted BSNL but they haven't done anything
till now. What should I do now?

    Attachment not readable.

Since you are getting connected to internet
The "FAIL" components presume in your Diagnostics page
not affecting speed. ( enet 2 etc ???)

    Try this application
    tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net
    Mention modem/make/model/number.
Check speed here twice and post link.

That attachment failed. You can see the attachment in attachment1.

    I have downloaded the application.
I will give it a try after reading the documentation and broadband tweaking articles
    in the site.

    Modem description:

    MODEL:T1-B-DSL699E9.4U6-5 MAKE:TERACOM LIMITED

    Result of speed tests:
    1st test:attachment2
    2nd test:attachment3
    3rd test:attachment4

I know that they are showing good result but when I run speed test
from Bit torrent I get bad result(See attachment 5).

    Your PM.
seems speed improvement with tcp/ip optimizer settings.
    await response by @meetdilip also.

Have you done port forwarding in your modem ?
    Mention modem make/model/number.
Check http://portforward..com for settings screen shots etc.

Change dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in modem .

Thanks for coming back but you haven't read my posts carefully .

One or two weeks ago I forwarded one single port for Bit torrent .At first that was giving
me 40-52KBps (DL)but next morning it dropped to 4-5 KBps(DL). Pages were taking forever to load in Google Chrome.
Here is my current port forwarding settings(See attachment please).
Using this settings at least I have got a stable DL speed (which is very low:40-52KBps).
I checked portforward.com before but my modem was not available there.

Please read my previous posts carefully before asking questions.Don't forget to see the
    images in my previous posts.

check snr & attn values in home/overview/status settings.snr downstream/local should be ~30 & attn less than 40.if true then try a heavily seeded torrent like some popular linux distro.max speed for 512kbps is 512/8=64KBps so avg speed expected is ~60KBps.however during certain time periods bsnl network might be heavily congested so you may get reduced speeds.usually speeds in night should be better.
also in your previous port forward setting pic external & internal port is 0 which should be the port you want to forward & if you are having trouble entering the port in rule then instead of ALL select TCP in the protocol setting.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    Thanks for your reply.
For the values you wanted check the attachment.
A few days ago I was downloading Crysis2 which was a heavily seeded torrent.
I never got 60KBps avg speed (may be for 1-2 seconds in 5 hrs),even not
    at night.
As an answer to that port forwarding tip I want to say that I did that before.
I used TCP and entered the desired port. But I was getting 40-52 KBps for some time, then it went down to 4-5 KBps in the next morning.
Using this port forwarding settings at least I have got a stable internet
connection (though DL speed is very low).
I am waiting for your reply.

Switch to bridge mode and check. In bridge mode, all ports are open by default.

Torrent never give a correct idea of speed. Download any file from Microsoft and check. If you are particular about torrents, download any Linux torrent and check.

your downstream snr value is very low.it should be ~30.check connected standard/mode in adsl(basic/advanced)setting & switch between ADSL2 & G.dmt to see if this snr value increases.if still no success then most probably problem is with line.

Ask the line man to give a clean line with no joints and non insulated parts.
