Thread: adsl wifi or basic???

hi frens..i just wanna know whether using adsl wifi modem affects da internet speed or not..wud da speed be better of adsl baic modem??? are there any disadvantages of wifi modem???? plzzzz rplyy...thanks..!!

Please mention the present modem router you have and the speed of your connection.

i hv just applied for the connection...i haven't got a modem yet...im confused which one to buy..plzzz help me to choose a modem..as per my prospective 900 combo plan im eligible for adsl basic modem..i hv a desktop now but im also planning to buy a laptop in sometime..i hv these optins--- ADSL BASIC B1/B2 , ADSLWIFI-2 W1/W2 , ADSL WIFI TA-WT,VDSL WIFI-VD.... HELP ME CHOOSE..

You can opt for a wifi modem type II and pay 50% of the cost in lieu of FREE adsl modem. Choose type W2.

its cost is 1800 rs...soo will i hv to pay only 900 rs..??? wt abt da remaining 900 rs?? when will i hv to pay that??

I have both non WiFi modem and WiFi modem. Speed is the same in both. As it is an era of WiFi devices, it will be wise to opt a WiFi modem to stay future proof.
