Thread: i-pad ! wireless !

Hey,

1. I'm buying an i-pad next month but the modem which i have is the old one and its not wireless.

2. How much does it cost for a new bnsl wireless broadband?

3. If there is any other better solution, please do let me know.

If you have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium and above, you can use connectify and make it a hotspot. You can do the same with your desktop if you have a WiFi adapter (USB one costs around Rs. 900).

You can also get a WiFi modem from BSNL for Rs. 80 per month rent or Rs. 1,800 outright purchase.

Or just buy a wireless router and connect the modem with it and it will cost you about Rs1000 or may be a little more for the cheapest router in the market.
