Default How much time it usually takes to download 1gb file using BB UL 750 plan?

    Hello folks!

Currently I am using BB FN Combo 600 plan and I am getting huge bills due to my internet addiction.
So I am planning to switch to BB Home UL 750 plan.

I mainly use broadband for downloading tons of stuffs everyday. I download around 6gb of torrents daily during unlimited period (2am to 8am).

Now my question is how much time will it take to download 1gb torrent using BB Home UL 750 plan?? I know it will give me 512KBps which means it will take around four-five hours. But still I want your answers. How much you people have to spend time to download 1gb file using 750 unlimited plan?? (tell me the proper time)

Please give your 1 minute of your life to answer my question, So that I can decide what to do further.

    Thanks In Advance!

basically it is 512Kbps and not KBps
512Kbps works out to 64kilobytes/sec (KBps)
obviously it wont work at that speed in 100%
    expect 50 or 55KBps
1GB works out to 1073741 KB and it would take 5.5 hours approx.(time in hours=(1073741/(55*60*60))
we may gain in rental of Home UL750, we loose in power consumption on pc or laptop.

i recollect the newtons theory-- energy can neither be created nor....

The benefit of being in UL 750 is that you will never notice these things. There is complete peace of mind. I just checked a torrent file which I downloaded and see that for a 747 MB file, it took 5h 36 min on torrents. The speed might have varied a bit, but it will give you real time analysis of how long it will take to download. Hope this helps.

Highly 50-63 KBPS as have checked in bsnl 750 network....

Do not even dream above 64KBPS it will never cross 64.
Just Download manager show above 64 kbps for 1 or 2 secs...

Time for 1 GB file ~ 7.5 hours in practice ... If no connection break in between
