Thread: Poor internet service provided by BSNL

Hello everyone. Its been a lsometime since my last post.

Im from the state of Mizoram, Lunglei (yes look at the map..lol). We have formed a broadband subscribers assocation over here due to the pathetic service provided by bsnl.

After struggling with the officials with all our efforts including reasoning, tough talks and ultimatium we have finally decided to take it to the District Consumer Forum.

If there is anyone who has some experience regarding this ( technical/legal) i would be grateful if you can shed some light regarding the probability of making a change.

I can provide the detailed papers submitted to the District Consumer Forum both from the Plaintiff (Broadband Subscribers Union)) and the Defendant (BSNL) if anyone is intrested.

Explain your technical problem with BSNL broadband service in your town. Is it a rural Exchange ? members may give suggestions for improvement. Still using C2110 ?

@essbebe ~ Thats a very good initiative. If everyone here send thier complaint on behalf of Broadband subscribers union then it will be very helpful to them.

No idea what is the problem. await feedback.
Mizoram is a Hill State, ( I was in Shillong , Now Meghalaya)
.Whether users there are complaining about EVDO 3G WiMAX or plain adsl broadband no idea.

Govt. has plans to increase the fiber base..

@Mickey ~ Agree with you. JE of my place told me that BSNL is planning to establish Fibre optic base this year end. I am excited and waiting for this to come true.
