Default By chance I got 800 kB/s while downloading a torrent!!

    Hello!

I am using BSNL Broadband for past 2 years and I m using BBG FN Combo 600.

I download tons of torrents every day during my unlimited period using utorrent and I usually get 180-190 kB/s. But today something miracle happened with me for the first time. Read on....

Today I was downloading torrents during my unlimited usage period (2 to 8 am) and I was getting my usual speed (i.e. 180 kB/s) but it suddenly started getting me 700 to 800 kB/s just for few seconds...it also went till 1.05 mB/s!! but only for few seconds. Then it started giving me my old speed.
Check out the attachment, its a snap I tried to take when this happened but the speed was changing very fast so its not very proper.

I know, I can get maximum speed of 256 kB/s. As I told before, I am using BSNL for last 2 years and the maximum speed I ever got is 215-225 KB/s on utorrent.

So why that happened to me?? It never happened to me before on utorrent.
Has anyone went through such thing like me?

It happens due to buffering. At times, your torrent client downloads data which goes unaccounted and when it is again calculated it shows a huge values due to already downloaded data. It happens for a few seconds. Nothing bad in it. So don't worry. Me on UL 750. At times, my values goes to 117 KBps or something. Same reason.

Yeah... As @meetdilip noted, it occurs due to buffering.

Avg DL speeds captured by IDM (at home) is 250-ish. Back in college, I remember getting 500+

    Ah, those were the days.
