Please mention your SSA. Presume you are logging in on a self care portal and you got the ID and password from BSNL through mail. Otherwise, use portal ID and check data.bsnl.in.

To log in to data.bsnl.in, you need your 14 digit portal ID. It seems you are on a self care portal. Please mention your exchange / district headquarters which you come under. From that we can find which portal is for you.

I couldn't get Silchar in the list. But I am almost certain it is either

    CRM

    or

    http://selfcare.ndc.bsnl.co.in/

Use your ID and check in these. If possible, give a ring to your exchange and ask which SSA you belong to. Hope this helps.

Saw the thread. Even I used to have a similar modem. I never did port forwarding. It used to work after enabling UPnP and NAT PMP port mapping. As I suggested above, try to find the UPnP option in modem and enable it. Or simply switch to bridge mode (use a firewall for protection). All ports are open by default in bridge mode.

To switch to bridge mode, log in to the modem, take the " Internet connection " page. In the 0/35 entry, try a " edit ". Browse through the options. You will find an option to choose between bridge and PPPoE. Simply select bridge and create a dialer from network places.

Before all these, modem menu > LHS panel > Admin > Take back up of modem settings. You can restore using this settings if anything goes wrong.

    Related to thread :

To avoid such situation in future, use an independent bandwidth meter. One from Networx or Shaplus will do.
