    Default same ping all the time!!!

    hey guys is there any way by which we can stable the ping rate.actually during day i cant able to play online on my ps3 but at evening i can able to connect.so if the ping is good at night why cant i able to get on day . is there any tweak by which the ping remains good all the day!

    Not really. You can somewhat reduce ping to international servers with leatrix latency fix but that isn't possible on a ps3 as far as I know.

    Also that wouldn't remove latency fluctuations.

    If the line to your house is bad or if there is noise in your phone line you could call the line man to get it checked.

    BSNL does not seem to offer any tech support or tier 2/tier 3 type support (i.e. talking to technical people) who can even help with latency/connection issues; so talking to them is mostly useless.

    Airtel broadband has more stable pings but they have a higher latency on average. Reliance/MTNL have lower and more stable pings than BSNL.

    Sadly very few people in India do anything where the quality of internet (jitter/packet loss/latency/latency fluctuations/backup routes/not getting disconnected etc) is even remotely important so I fear that the situation won't improve in the foreseeable future.

    Most people just check emails and that works fine on dialup
