Default why my gaming ping is same on Asian and USA servers?

    I m a BSNL broadband user.

I dont know how BSNL is routing my connection but my problem is weird. I play online games. On Malaysian servers i m getting 340ms ping but on USA servers i m getting 290ms ping. What is that?? Malaysia is very near so ping should be fine here.

Point to be noted is sometime for few hours, i dont know what bsnl do, i see 130ms ping on Malaysian servers but onlye for few hours.

will playing DNS tactics help?? or what can i do??

A bit late for reply but I am sure some new visitors to this thread would benefit.

BSNL cannot be blamed completely because it might be the carriers that your Malaysian data center uses that has bad routing. You would be better of playing on Singapore based servers especially softlayer's servers. I normally get 80ms to Singapore from Delhi using a local cable operator and I cannot imagine BSNL doing anything worse then 100ms in any case.

Changing DNS will have no difference.
