Question Dont know what/where exactly is the problem?? Please Help

For the past 4 days i have been facing network timeouts about every 10-15 seconds. The internet connection is not disconnected completely but lags severly. Multiplayer games(counter strike, age of empires are lagging several times than usual, earlier it used to be very good)
I m facing Server Timeout,Page cannot be displayed errors often. Pages load very slowly.
I get a bandwidth of 1.22 Mbps(yet the pages load slowly)
I used ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx command and there is frequent 'Request Timed Out'

    ADSL2+ Statistics
    Downstream Upstream
    SNR Margin (dB): 32.9 6.0
    Attenuation (dB): 3.0 1.4

Attenuation is good and SNR Downstream is as well.

What is the problem? Is it my computer/router ? or is it in the exchange?

such high SNR of 32.9 if on the download, you are likely to suffer.
perhaps your cable pair, or the connecting cable from line to modem thro' splitter, might be developing bad connection. generally the cable going to modem from splitter might get tarnished as there is no DC current flowing.
try to clean the concerned pins on plugs and the sockets. concerned and the test and re post the same test result.

ask the telephone line man to help you adding 560 ohms 1/2 watt resistor on each limb before it is served to you.
I had already suggested to check for clean contacts (gold and shining) on all cables and sockets. Hope you might have done that.
nest is a request too JTO or concerned person to change the port for you.

Yeah the results are after checking the cables and cleaning the pins.
One end of a cable has lost its shine and was.... almost gold, but not gold, i would say.

Connect MODEM RJ11 direct to BSNL phone junction.
Do not use any adsl splitter or PHONE. This is to check the adsl splitter ports are oK and not wrongly connected.
    Check SNR again.

Task is to Increase the UPLOAD SNR>

    wait...
    Uncheck adsl2+ box here.

    APPLY SAVE reboot.
    recheck snr/attn.

    Sorry
    I was practically talking absurd

download margin is good in fact at 39.2
but upload margin is bad. perhaps the modem has bed electrolytic filter caps , with bulged TOPS. otherwise the OP can also check with another adopter, if the present one is suspect.

Im already connected directly to the phone junction without a splitter.
I have a parallel connection, phone is connected to one junction, router to other junction. Even if i use the splitter i get the same snr and attn
