    Hi,

Whats the upload speed of UL1350?
    I'm getting 60-90 kBps

Maximum upload speed for any BSNL ADSL connection is 768 Kbps (96 KBps).

    Download 1.6 mBps

    Sure ? Not 1.6 Mbps ?

    Try this

http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...ly-2-mbps.html (4 Mbps connection, but getting only 2 Mbps)

I am getting upstream data rate of 509 Kbps instead of 768 Kbps.
Can the upstream data rate be lifted as like downstream data rate or it depends upon the line quality?

    Do a speed test.
For Home users768Kbps is MAX default set
    by BSNL for Home users.

What is shown in modem is synchronised speed.
You can (a) change Mod Mode to ADSL2 + and try
............(b) RESET to Factory setttings and check.
    With Speedtest recheck.

First check out what is the upload speed BSNL is offering for ULD 1350. If it is 768 Kbps, ask SDE to lift the cap on your port and set it as 768 Kbps or the promised speed.

Well we all know that it offers upload speed of 768 Kbps for all plans which offer download speed of 1 Mbps or more. Moreover, I haven't exausted the 20GB limit yet after which the download speed will decrease to 512 Kbps, in that case the upload speed will also decrease but how come its offering speed of 509 Kbps instead of 768 Kbps from the beginning?

Post the summary page of your modem (no edit, or PM me).

Who gave you this info ? All I knew was maximum speed for ADSL plans are 768 Kbps. Never found a link in BSNL site stating upload speed for plan. Please post the source.

I am a bit confused by the " attainable rate " and " rate ". If the one determines speed is " rate ", ask the SDE to upgrade the upstream rate to 768 Kbps or higher (in DSLAM port). In my modem it is given as " Line rate " and is ok for UL 750. There is nothing much you can do from your end. That is why I suggested try talking to the SDE.

@essbebe how come you are getting 2 Mbps instead of 512Kbps in Home UL 750? i mean your downstream data rate shows 2048 Kbps.

    Thanks essbebe. Can't rep

    @ pkm.sbp

Don't worry if it is higher, that may not give you anything more than your plan speed. All you need to worry is you get something lesser than your plan speed.
