Thread: bsnl and garena problem.

hello,
i play warcraft in garena, i used to use tata photon plus but since pings where really high i got a bsnl connection 4mbps(i still have the photon), the problem is that i can see other host in garena with photon but with bsnl i have to tunnel the host to be able to see, the way i know that he is hosting is when they tell JOIN ME in gg.. i tunnel the name and see the game hosted but most of the time its too late to join because the slots are filled.... i dont think its garena problem because with my photon i can see, i tried changing servers too.. can u help me solve this problem

Mention modem/model/make/number.
I am not familar with set ups. for Games.

With PHOTON Y all ports are open.
You may have to do Portforwarding in BSNL modem.
Check in portforward.com
Select under Advanced options Port triggering or Virtual server option and
enter application start port end port.
Your IP will be 192.168.1.X( Check in ipconfig /all)

my modem is teracom t2-b-gawv1.4u10y-bi, which modem should i select in portforward.com, last time i check teracom t2-b-gawv1.4u10y-bi was not there.

got it but can u help me fill in the details. should i select user defined? wan interface? protocol/type should i fill in all 3 slots or only one? also what should i put in the slots so many options are there? sorry i need all details i really dont know how to do.

thank you for replying too.. well i dont really have problem with warcraft.... its bsnl and garena.. cause with photon plus i can see all hosted games the link you provided would be for wow blizzards settings. can u help me (please read my thread again.. ty) if it is port problem .. a step by step guide would be good.. cause i dont really know of it.

ty for your reply, i can see all hosted game with my photon in garena but with my bsnl i cant see all hosted games. i think bsnl problem what to do? the link is for blizzards warcrafts.. my problem i'm guessing is garena and bsnl problem.. what to do?

my god. even i have the same problem!! i live in Chennai . and the same problem is happening to me . i have to tunnel to see games which are hosted by people in the room . The pings do not come up naturally instantly when a person enters a room. please help!
@free, was the problem fixed for you . If so, please tell how.
