Thread: Weird incidence!

I have been facing the problem of broadband's being disconnected on average at a 5mins interval; so I thought why not try the pure bridged mode instead of ppp?

10mins ago I changed it to pure bridged mode. But as soon as I connected, my zonelab firewall began to show messages of the kind attached (untitled.jpg). I think hack attempts are running. But I never faced such situation before!

Could you find any link between my broadband problem and this incidence?

yeah if u connected bridged mode msgs firewall have to block such IPS. but I dont think that a attempt is to hack our internet connection. password is valid for only that particular number we ar dialing from it. so BSNL server problem may be the reason.the disconnection is mainly in the peak time that is after 6 pm. may be the excess traffic causes problem.
