Rep Power: 0 | well friends, using BSNL dataone for more thn one year, lately it has got some problems..I loose sync at times ( the link goes off ) and it sucks !!! specially 2 to 8... I checked my modem data and changed my ADSL modulation to G.dmt and the problem was solved somewhat..but it is still there.I have joined the telephone cable directly to my modem ( no phone) and got the cable changed after running after BSNL wallas .. Well, Here are my modem stats: UPSTREAM DOWNSTREAM ADSL Link Speed 736 Kbps 9568 Kbps Previous Tx-Rate 672 Kbps 10016 Kbps SNR 15 dB 7.5 dB Attenuation 11.5 dB 25.0 dB I fear that some wiring fault is at DSLAM at exchange and I want to confront BSNL JTO on this ground.. Can somebody clarify why the upstream SNR is more then Downstream ? regards .. |
