After reset (if you have no other option), use this links to configure your modem back to working condition

Usually user name for accessing modem
USERIDadmin PW admin or password. ( if modem supplied by AIRTEL)
( if you had changed them earlier and cannot remember either , only RESET will restore factory defaults ). No other way.

    Dear Friends,

It is working fine. Thanks a lot for your help.

I am having the following versions in modem:

    Firmware Version: WA3002G4-0021.01

    Software Version: 1132_061507-3.08L.BSNL_02.

May I know what is the difference between Firmware and Software version?

Where can I get latest version for both?

    Cheers,

    Vas

    Always welcome

Firmware update should be done only if there is any particular reason for it. It is not like Windows update which we do to be fail proof. Also if done wrongly, it will damage your modem permanently. It is recommended to continue with pre installed firmware.

Also go to " management " (last option in LHS menu) and take a back up of your modem settings. You can later use this and restore your modem settings. It will help you to avoid reconfiguration in similar conditions.
